Sailed here from
Melbourne in 2011, this tough and reliable
steel cruiser has been home to her owners who have moved up in size. The Tahitiana
was designed by Weston Farmer who adapted the Tahiti Ketch (by John Hanna) to
carry more canvas and be built of steel. This yacht is unusual in that
she has a wheelhouse which has increased the living space available. The
standing rigging is only 18 months old and the new Volvo 4 cylinder engine
was installed in 2010.
