About YBC

The company YBC grew from it's inception in 2008 to become one of the most successful marine brokerage businesses in South East Asia. It's global client concepts were based upon the experience gained by Bob, and indeed by myself and other family members, over thousands of miles of full time sailing on the high seas and along the coasts of many countries. It's business creed was to provide a service that whilst thoroughly professional at all times was carried out with the understanding and personal attention to the needs of both buyers and sellers of marine craft. It had to be 'smooth sailing' for everybody. This service to clients expanded to include the registration of vessels under the Langkawi International Yacht Registry, as well as the insurance needs of all boat owners. It developed even further to become a 'one stop shop' for clients wanting the refurbishment of boats in order to maximise their sale potential as well as the pre-sale or post-sale delivery of the vessels to locations of the owners choice. http://www.yachtbroker-charters.com e-mail:info@yachtbroker-charters.com Contact: 0060 174196933

Lagoon 470 - EUR 345,000
Since 2003 Lagoon has been the world leader in the construction of cruising catamarans. They have a full and innovative range of boats and the support of a comprehensive distribution network. Indeed, Lagoon has more than 70 distributors throughout the world who are passionate catamaran specialists.
Designers Marc Van Peteghem and Vincent Lauriot Prévost took the strengths and weaknesses of the older Lagoon 47 and created a multifaceted multihull, ready to play the role of a liveaboard, charter boat, or long-distance cruiser. The transition from the Lagoon 47 to the Lagoon 470 entailed a major hull and deck redesign and a new approach to the use of space below, resulting in a truly new boat.
'Calliope' was bought by her present owners in 2006 who have cruised her in the Mediterranean and then down to East Africa and across the Indian Ocean to where she currently lies in Langkawi, Malaysia. She has been meticulously maintained and regularly serviced. A rolling programme of replacement ensures that she is offered in exceptional condition. She is EU VAT paid.  More pictures & Slideshow here.
