About YBC

The company YBC grew from it's inception in 2008 to become one of the most successful marine brokerage businesses in South East Asia. It's global client concepts were based upon the experience gained by Bob, and indeed by myself and other family members, over thousands of miles of full time sailing on the high seas and along the coasts of many countries. It's business creed was to provide a service that whilst thoroughly professional at all times was carried out with the understanding and personal attention to the needs of both buyers and sellers of marine craft. It had to be 'smooth sailing' for everybody. This service to clients expanded to include the registration of vessels under the Langkawi International Yacht Registry, as well as the insurance needs of all boat owners. It developed even further to become a 'one stop shop' for clients wanting the refurbishment of boats in order to maximise their sale potential as well as the pre-sale or post-sale delivery of the vessels to locations of the owners choice. http://www.yachtbroker-charters.com e-mail:info@yachtbroker-charters.com Contact: 0060 174196933

CT 41 Ketch - AUD 112,000
Full keeled heavy displacement yachts, the CT 41's have all the attributes for a true blue water cruiser.
They are strong and safe passage makers and the ketch rig affords easy handling and a variety of sailplan options. These yachts are popular circumnavigators.
'Kelolo' has had three owners and her current owners have cruised from the East coast of Australia, exploring much of Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. The yacht is very well set up for extended cruising with many fail safe items built in for long term, self sufficient, sailing. Refrigeration and water systems are especially set up in this regard.
The teak decks have been removed and replaced with grp and anti slip paint. Fuel tanks replaced in 2000 with aluminium tanks. No osmosis has been observed, the yacht was given an epoxy job in 1996 and another epoxy coat prior to anti foul October 2012. The hull remains in great condition.
The engine, installed in 1996, is a marinised Kubota and at consumption of 3.5 lph gives a motoring range of 1200nm. The engine is fitted with two alternators, one for each battery bank. An additional alternator is prop shaft driven. The gearbox was overhauled in 2012. Access to the engine and associated machinery is excellent.
A survey report (2011) is available upon request plus a detailed operating systems manual.
