About YBC

The company YBC grew from it's inception in 2008 to become one of the most successful marine brokerage businesses in South East Asia. It's global client concepts were based upon the experience gained by Bob, and indeed by myself and other family members, over thousands of miles of full time sailing on the high seas and along the coasts of many countries. It's business creed was to provide a service that whilst thoroughly professional at all times was carried out with the understanding and personal attention to the needs of both buyers and sellers of marine craft. It had to be 'smooth sailing' for everybody. This service to clients expanded to include the registration of vessels under the Langkawi International Yacht Registry, as well as the insurance needs of all boat owners. It developed even further to become a 'one stop shop' for clients wanting the refurbishment of boats in order to maximise their sale potential as well as the pre-sale or post-sale delivery of the vessels to locations of the owners choice. http://www.yachtbroker-charters.com e-mail:info@yachtbroker-charters.com Contact: 0060 174196933

Crowther 44
A very sleek and stylish performance cruising catamaran with impressive sail performance.

This catamaran has been totally upgraded inside and out by the owner, a professional Australian shipwright, during 2011. Nothing but the best quality materials have been used and the result is a very well presented and impressive vessel with modern lines that turns heads everywhere she goes.

The yacht is incredibly sturdy, the hulls have been enhanced with Kevlar laminate (450g) below the waterline plus a double overlap of kevlar along the keel line. Additional carbon reinforcement along the keel line, rudder areas, bridge deck and cockpit sole makes for a very reassuring yet light weight vessel. You wont find comparable strength and performance in many other vessels at this price range!

This vessel can really move with excellent sailing performance in even the lightest winds - she readily sails when other cruising yachts have to motor. She can reach speeds above 20 knotts with daily runs approaching 300nm. Her performance as a cruiser has been well tested, having completed multiple ocean crossings.

The two reliable Volvo Penta 29hp engines with sail drive (boots replaced 2010) are very fuel efficient.

Other features include a specifically designed carbon bowsprit, carbon targa, carbon davits, and custom carbon sacrificial bow stem collision caps.
Last haul out November 20011 More pictures & slideshow here.
